This Arkansas Volunteer set is made from blue and white striped cloth with blue facings on the collar & cuff and down the front. It's mostly machine sewn but has plenty of hand stitching throughout. This uniform is pictured on pg. 234 of Uniforms of the Civil War: An Illustrated Guide for Historians, Collectors, and Reenactors. by Robin Smith & Ron Field. It is worn by Private John Harrison Raleigh of the 11th Arkansas Infantry. The Jacket is approx. a 40" chest while the trousers are approx. a 32" waist. Made by Nic Clark.
