This is the 11 button jacket of the type produced by Schulkyll Arsenal and issued to infantrymen. Based on an original in the Troiani collection with plaid woolen lining, wool chest batting, and horsehair buckram stiffener. All exposed stitching is handsewn with logwood dyed thread.
